Your challenge is to give a response that links words from two different lists.
You have 1 minute to think and 4 minutes to respond. You are allowed to ask the judges questions; however, time will continue. You are not allowed to talk to each other at any time.
Your challenge is to give a response that links two words, one from each of these lists.
You will do this by rolling these dice and using the words that correspond to the color and number of the dice. For example, if you roll a red 2 and a blue 4 you would link a horn and a bear, so you might say, “They are both loud.”
If you roll a 6, you have a “free choice” and can choose any word listed for the color of that die.
Speak loudly and clearly. Once time begins, it will not be stopped, even if the judge hasn’t heard your answer and asks you to say it again. You should not repeat a response that has already been given.
There are 35 tokens in front of you. Before each response, you will place a token in the container on the table.
You can respond in any order. You will be finished when all of the tokens have been used or response time ends. Each team member may give as many or as few responses as they wish, until the tokens run out.
Judges:
Place a container and 35 tokens within reach of all team members.
Place one blue die and one red die in front of each team member.
Place the following lists in view of all team members. Be sure to label each list as “red” and “blue.” Incorporate the actual color on the list as well. You can use red or blue lettering, colored paper, or other markings.
